Stitching Away

So DH has been out of town this week, which means a lot more me time to stitch away. I have been trying to get some progress made on HONW, but things seem slow going for some reason. This house is just taking me forever, and I can't tell if it is because I am really stitching that slowly, or if it just because I get interrupted about every 5 minutes with the puppies, or the phone, or the puppies, or changing the movie, or the puppies. They have been so ornery this week. Ridiculously so. But I thought I would post some progress, I think the house may get finished today, and I am excited to move on to the words, then to get this done. It will be my first finish for myself!!!!!

I really love Little House Needleworks, there are several of these patterns on my ABC Stitch wishlist. I also have another one in my stash that I really wanted to get started on, but I didn't have the threads. I hate not having a LNS, I like specialty and overdyed threads and I usually have to get them online or at the LNS in Mexico, MO (about a 45 min. drive). I hope BK wins the lottery (sometime soon!! ;-)) so that we can actually start our own LNS, it would be too awesome. Anyhoo, that's my progress for now, hopefully I will keep this up and going, it is kind of fun to just write about my favoritist hobby.
